Here are my top distractions and how I deal with them:
The first distraction is definitely my cell phone. Playing my game, looking on Facebook, Instagram, etc. It is definitely my biggest distraction. I deal with the distraction, but putting the phone down when I am around company. I do use it as a way to cope with the stresses of my day. But, I do try to put it down more.
The second distraction is the TV. I like to watch my shows/movies... it also helps relieve the stresses from the day. I usually do stop watching it around 8 or so. I try to read/write/get ready for the next day before I relax in bed.
Those are the ones that take up most of my time. I have learned to stop doing them to do the things that I need to get done. Like working out, cooking dinner, etc. I do enjoy the distractions, but sometimes you need to walk away so you can get the things done that you need to do on the day to day basis.
