Super Proud Wife

My husband has talked about doing a triathlon for as long as we have been together. It was always just talk and he would say this or that and it was just dreams back then...
I decided to buy him a TT bike as they call it. One that is used for doing a triathlon. I bought him the bike for his birthday and when I gave it to him, my only comment was that I didn't want to see this bike sit in our garage and not get used for a triathlon. Nothing like setting a fire under him, right?
July 14th, 2018 my husband participated in his first sprint triathlon. It was such a cool experience because my dad was in town visiting and he came with me. Our awesome friends Ty, Chanel and Triton met us there. IT was so awesome for him to have other people besides me there to support one of his dreams.
In the picture above it is him and his friend he met there. This guy helped him so much with what works best and how to do things that help during the transition. The swim was done and next came the transition to begin the bike part...
Once he was off, we all got in our cars and we headed to the bike transition spot. This was the worst part because the bike ride was 13 or so miles and it was a little bit of a wait. I was so excited for him that I could hardly contain my excitement...
Let me tell you... this little kid here was so excited to see Mr. Abe. He kept saying when is he going to be here, where is Mr. Abe. It was the cutest thing ever.
This was after he crossed the finish line. What a proud wife I am. I am so proud of him for never giving up on his dream. HE has even bigger dreams which is participate in an IRON MAN... One day I know I will watch him achieve this huge dream/goal. And I will be right there by his side cheering him on. I love him dearly! WAY TO GO BABY!

  1. Wow! I am impressed. Great job to your husband for not only competing but finishing the triathlon. Now that he's got that under his belt he's setting his sights on Iron Man. Well, if his level of dedication is anything like what got him here, he should be awesome. Best of luck!

  2. Thanks Mitch. He really has a level of dedication that I have never seen. He is amazing. I can't wait to go to Hawaii and enjoy beach life while I am there to watch him do the Iron Man in 2-5 years. :)
